Police find evidence of gun fire on Spruce Street after man reports being shot at

MANCHESTER, NH – Police units responded to the area of 312 Spruce St. at about 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 for multiple reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, resident Marcus Morton, 32, approached Officer Mara and advised him that an unknown male ran onto Morton’s porch, saying he was robbed. The unknown male pointed to the area of 418 Spruce St. Morton observed an unknown black male who fired approximately three shots in their direction. Morton took cover in his residence.

It is unknown where the alleged robbery victim went.

The shooter is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, height approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. Investigators located evidence consistent with gun shots at the scene, and continue to investigate the matter. I
