Police dog fetches man wanted by police from closet

MANCHESTER, NH – Timothy Poulin, 30, last known address 27 Dudley St., #7, Manchester, was arrested Oct. 8 on multiple outstanding warrants after an anonymous CrimeLine tip led police to find Poulin at 100 Harrison St.

A tipster reported that Poulin was hiding out at 100 Harrison St. He was wanted by Manchester police on multiple warrants for his arrest that included theft by unauthorized taking, violation of probation and non-appearance in court.Screen shot 2014-10-09 at 10.05.10 AM

When officers arrived at the Harris Street apartment, Poulin refused to come out. With the assistance of a State Police K-9, officers located Poulin hiding in a closet. Poulin refused the orders of the officers to come out and was apprehended by the K-9. Poulin was then taken into custody. During the search incident to the arrest, officers found a clear plastic bag in Poulin’s pocket that is believed to contain marijuana. Poulin was then transported to the hospital for medical treatment to his leg.

In addition to the warrants, Poulin will also be charged with resisting arrest and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana).
