MANCHESTER, NH – On September 24, 2019, at around 11 a.m., Manchester Police Chief Carlo Capano was driving in the downtown area when a call came across the police radio about a possible burglary in progress on Concord Street.

Being just a few blocks away, the Chief asked for a description of the suspect and ended up spotting a man fitting the description on Union Street. Chief Capano witnessed the man, later identified as Myk Neuner, 32, of Manchester, approach another man and try to pull a bag out of his hands.

The Chief pulled his SUV over, blocking the sidewalk with it, and approached Neuner. As he was doing a pat-down of Neuner, other officers stopped to assist.  It was learned that Neuner had an active warrant from Superior Court. He was also found to be on probation and wearing an ankle bracelet.

Neuner was arrested on the warrant. Additionally, Neuner was charged with robbery as well as criminal trespass and prowling which both stemmed from the original call. Neuner is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough Superior Court on Sept. 25.
