A third person, 16-year-old male, who was with Marcoux and Williamson, was released to a guardian and will appear in juvenile court.

Police say that on August 8, 2014 at about 12:45 a.m. an officer on patrol in the area spotted three individuals walking toward his cruiser.

When the officer questioned the three about where they lived and where they were headed, initially they told the officer were going to a friend’s house at an unknown Smyth Road address.

During the stop, the officer found that the three were in possession of several items, including two GPS devices, sunglasses, a folding knife and a set of car keys. Police said the three admitted to taking the  items from multiple vehicles in the area prior to being stopped by the officer.
