Police: Call reporting shots fired at Laurel Street address unsubstantiated

MANCHESTER, NH — A Laurel Street residence was the focus Monday night of a police investigation into an alleged shooting incident. However, police found no evidence of gunfire.

At about 8:46 p.m. on January 9, 2017 Manchester Police Officers responded to 101 Laurel St. after receiving a phone call about a firearm being discharged inside the residence. A perimeter was established around the residence. Multiple people exited the residence and were detained and interviewed by police.

The residence was cleared by officers and no injured parties were located. The initial police investigation showed no evidence of a firearm being discharged.
