MANCHESTER, N.H. – There were plenty of goals in SNHU Arena on Sunday afternoon with the Manchester Monarchs defeating the Norfolk Admirals, 7-5.

Manchester scored six goals on two earlier occasions this season, but this marks the first time with seven goals.

The Monarchs goals each came from different skaters, as Daniil Miromanov and Cory Ward contributed power play goals. David Kolomatis, Tony Cameranesi, Drake Rymsha, Spencer Watson and Jared Fiegl also scored for Manchester.

Watson and Matt Doherty also added two assists in the effort.

Norfolk added two power play goals of their own in the third period, followed by Daniel Alberga’s shorthanded goal with ten seconds left in the contest, his second shorthanded goal of the game.

The Monarchs return to action Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m., when they take on the Adirondack Thunder at the Cool Insuring Arena.
