MANCHESTER, NH – A two-car accident closed down Pine Street around rush hour on Friday, after a pole was knocked down, blocking traffic.
A sedan struck and knocked down the light pole and also took out the traffic control box. Two people were transported with non-life-threatening injuries. No one was injured from the other vehicle, which was a Jeep.
Police shut down traffic on Pine Street to remove the pole. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
