Southern New Hampshire, which never trailed in the contest, held a 40-30 advantage coming out of the locker room when an 18-4 burst – led by seven points from Ziliak – opened the largest lead of the night for the Penmen at 58-34 with 1:10 remaining in the third quarter.

Southern New Hampshire (6-3, 1-2 Northeast-10) has now won two straight and will be back in action Saturday, Dec. 7 (1:30 p.m.) when they play host to the New York Institute of Technology in non-conference action at the Stan Spirou Field House.

Senior Shawn Montague (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) led the Penmen with 23 points as the Penmen defeated Saint Michael’s College on Wednesday night, 83-64.

Senior Eammon Joyce (Medford, Mass.) had 21 points for SNHU, with junior Michael Almonacy (Brentwood, N.Y.) pitching in 17 points and freshman Jacari Sanders (San Antonio, Texas) adding 11 points.
