Man struck by car, seriously injured

MANCHESTER, NH – Just before 8 p.m. on April 14 police and rescuers responded to a reported accident at Mammoth Road and Hanover Street involving a pedestrian.

 

Preliminary investigation indicates a man was struck by a 2002 Toyota Celica as it traveled West on Hanover Street at Mammoth Road.

The occupants of the car were uninjured, however the pedestrian was transported to the Elliot Hospital with multiple serious bodily injuries. The identities of all persons involved are being withheld pending the investigation by Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Team.
