MANCHESTER, NH – Dogs and humans alike are looking forward to Temple Adath Yehurun’s (TAY) fifth annual Bagels & Biscuits 5K Run and Walk for the Animal Rescue League (ARL) of NH. This unique, family- and dog-friendly event provides runners the opportunity to enjoy a competitive race along with their furry friends, while also supporting two great local non-profits.

“The Animal Rescue League of NH provides a variety of services and programs that help thousands of animals in the state,” said Bagels & Biscuits Spokesman Jonathan Baron. “In partnership with this important organization, we’re proud to bring the community together to enjoy the outdoors and to support a great cause.”

This spring may have kicked off with a series of snow storms—but that won’t stop hundreds of sneakers and paws from hitting the road. The 5K run and walk will be held at Derryfield Park in Manchester on Sunday, April 15, starting at 9 a.m.

“We have heard from many of our returning participants that Bagels and Biscuits has become their favorite way to start the spring season,” Baron added.

Teams and individuals may register for the event online, or on race day starting at 7:30 a.m. Registrations submitted before April 13 will receive an early bird discount. Proceeds from the event will benefit TAY and the ARL. For more information, including a map of the course, visit www.BagelsandBiscuits5k.com, or email TAY President Cate Tanzer at BB5kRun@gmail.com.
