Residents are invited to recreate this 1914 image, in which mill workers from Amoskeag Manufacturing gathered to pose before what become known as “The Great Flag.” Photo/Manchester Historic Association

MANCHESTER, NH – On June 14 at 11:30 a.m., Brady Sullivan Properties will unveil a grand American flag that will rekindle memories of the 1914 image in which mill workers from Amoskeag Manufacturing gathered to pose before what become known as “The Great Flag.”

The photo of that event was captured by Harlan Marshall – later curator for the Manchester Historic Association – and the reimagining of that event is sure to draw crowds. The new flag will be draped over four stories of what is now known as The Lofts at Mill West on the city’s West Side, and the photo opportunities – this time in living color –  are sure to be grand.

Brady Sullivan invites you to participate in this historic tribute by joining the Brady Sullivan team along with local historians and officials.

The flag will remain hanging on the highway side of the building from June 14-18 and we kindly ask you to utilize the front parking lot on McGregor Street during that time, to make way for public viewing.
