MANCHESTER, NH – Abdi Khamis, 28, of Hooksett, was arrested March 23, charged with criminal threatening, after allegedly pointing a gun at someone who asked him to move his vehicle.

At approximately 1:10 p.m. on Thursday Manchester patrol officers responded to 328 Cedar St. for a criminal threatening complaint involving a firearm.

The complainant, a resident of the building whose name was not included in the report, told police that a man, later identified as Khamis, frequently visits the tenants who reside within the building and he parks his vehicle in marked tenant spaces.

At the time of the incident, the complainant confronted Khamis by asking him to move his vehicle. Khamis became agitated and challenged the complainant to fight. At that time, Khamis allegedly removed a handgun from his jacket pocket and pointed it at the complainant.

Khamis then left the area in his vehicle.

Responding officers located Khamis in his vehicle a short distance away. Their investigation resulted in locating the firearm in the vehicle and Khamis was subsequently arrested, and charged with criminal threatening (a felony).
