NASHUA, NH — A tractor-trailer carrying large bales of paper split when the frame broke from the weight, creating a traffic mess in Nashua on Friday.

The truck buckled raising the wheels off the ground, and has shut down Exit 5 north on the Everett Turnpike, as well as on and off ramps.  Removal of the truck is expected to take several hours. Seek alternate routes.

The tow company is bringing shrink wrap to repackage the bales and remove them from the trailer, and then remove the truck from the roadway.
