BAR HARBOR, MAINE – Seven Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees were recognized for outstanding contribution to the organization’s success during the bank’s recent annual all-employee meeting.

Dennis Borcuk, Systems Engineer in Newport, New Hampshire received the Salisbury Service Award.
Jack Frost, Director of Community Giving in Ellsworth, Maine received the Communication Award.
Erica Dancosse, Staff Accountant in Newport, New Hampshire received the Professionalism Award.
Catie Faucher, Branch Relationship Manager in Andover, New Hampshire received the Initiative Award.
Brian Jacobs, VP/Information Reporting Manager in Hampden, Maine received the Quality Award.
Sally Fuller, Personal Banker II in Rockland, Maine received the Positivity Award.
Marion Steiner, AVP/Branch Relationship Manager in Lebanon, New Hampshire received the Teamwork Award.

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust just cut the ribbon on a new branch in downtown Manchester.


Dennis Bocuk received the Salisbury Service Award, the Company’s highest honor, recognizing outstanding service and helpfulness. With a positive attitude Dennis is always willing to help others and offer additional assistance. He is a great communicator and completes tasks efficiently. Dennis is a quiet professional with a no-nonsense approach who works hard, and others seek him out for support and guidance. In the community, Dennis is a coach, volunteer, and supports local events.

Jack Frost received the Communication Award, recognizing him for his patience and understanding when partnering with people across the Company and in the communities we serve. He goes above and beyond to form meaningful relationships with others, getting to know them, taking time to explain, and offering relevant advice. After a conversation with Jack, people leave having a better understanding of situations and feeling valued and heard.

Erica Dancosse received the Professionalism Award, being recognized for her calm, warm and professional demeanor. When responding to questions from team members across the Bank, she makes them feel welcome. Erica is the “go-to” person for many of her co-workers. She is a true role model for being prompt, helpful and always following up.

Catie Faucher received the Initiative Award for taking on new challenges, always striving for the best, and meeting customers’ needs with respect and integrity. She is warm, knowledgeable and open, proactively looking for the right solution. Catie goes above and beyond, implementing new ideas for improved effectiveness in the branch. A highly motivated and natural leader, she brings great ideas to life in a confident and thoughtful way.

Brian Jacobs received the Quality Award for being responsive and creative. He asks clarifying questions and makes value-added recommendations for improvements when handling a request for information. Brian delivers promptly information which is clear and relevant.

Sally Fuller received the Positivity Award for her constant encouraging and optimistic attitude. Customers enjoy her bright smile and enthusiastic greeting. She is continuously looking for ways to enhance the customer experience, working hard to find the best solution. Sally’s positivity is unfailing, as she always the first to volunteer at an event or to cover a shift at the branch.

Marion Steiner received the Teamwork Award. As a manger of several branches, she is always coaching and developing each person’s individual strengths to form an effective team. She believes working together produces the best results. As a leader and role model, Marion is supportive, caring and thoughtful. She is inclusive and an effective communicator, encouraging others to ask for help when needed.
