BEDFORD, NH – Megan Lakos, 24, of Londonderry was arrested by Bedford Police on Jan. 12. Lakos turned herself in at police headquarters on several warrant for her arrest, alleging she stole multiple pieces of jewelry, including wedding rings, from residents of a local nursing home.

Police responded three times in October to a local nursing home for reports of various jewelry items missing from patients’ rooms.

An investigation by Bedford Police Detectives revealed that Lakos allegedly stole jewelry from residents’ rooms and sold it to a local pawn shop.

Lakos was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail pending her appearance in Merrimack District Court on Feb. 9.
