MANCHESTER, NH  – Are you ready for a dip in NH’s kinder, gentler, “Shark Tank”?

NH High Tech Council, which organizes the event, is putting the call out for presenters to participate in the first Entrepreneur Forum of 2015 , which will take place at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11 at FIRST headquarters, 200 Bedford St., in Manchester.

Likened to the popular television show Shark Tank, but “without the fins” the Entrepreneur Forum is a chance for companies – both startups and established businesses – to gain insight and advice about a business opportunity or issue from a panel of handpicked experts in front of a live audience. Presenters have 15 minutes to provide an overview of their company and subject matter – which can range from marketing advice to product viability and anything in between – to a panel of three experts and the attendees. The panel acts as venture advisors for an evening and provides potential solutions based on their own professional experiences and expertise.

“After each forum, we hear tremendous feedback from presenters about the many valuable takeaways they get from the presenting experience,” said Matt Cookson, the Council’s executive director. “Not only is the business advice from the panelists and the audience invaluable, but the networking, connections to New Hampshire’s smartest tech minds and publicity make applying to be an Entrepreneur Forum presenter a clear value-add.”

Between the two presentations, a 90-second “Sky Dive” is held during which a start-up or
