
MANCHESTER, NH – Cinemaphiles – especially those who enjoy the short film genre – will want to mark your movie-going calendar for Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. for a screening of the Ninth Annual New Hampshire High School Short Film Festival.
For just $5 a ticket, experience the quality of short films being produced by high schools in the Granite State fostering an environment for students to work together (and with other high schools) to create an amazing diversity of cinematic content.
This special screening is the final stop of the NHHSSFF 2016 summer tour, allowing for student filmmakers to experience having their short films projected on the magnificent big screen at The Palace Theatre. It’s also the kick-off event to inspire and motivate Manchester area high school students to submit student work to the 1oth Annual NHHSSFF in 2017.

Launched in 2008 and presented by the New Hampshire Film and Television Office, NHHSSFF has become one of the marquee film festivals in NH, fostering interest in filmmaking, encouraging media arts education in schools and rewarding future members of the industry for their craft. Twenty-seven student-produced short films were selected for the 2016 Festival, and will be showcased on Oct. 26.
This event is presented by the New Hampshire Film & Television Office, Manchester Arts Commission ( M | A | C ), Boston Creative Pro User Group and The Palace Theatre.
