CONCORD, N.H. – This fall, over 9,000 New Hampshire taxpaying businesses will receive access to a new online portal aiming to facilitate state taxes.

Earlier this week, the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (DRA) announced the creation of Granite Tax Connect, which will allow taxpayers, operators and practitioners to file taxes electronically.

Since announcing its contract with Fast Enterprises last year to modernize all aspects of the tax collection and payment process, NHDRA has been working diligently to prepare for the launch of its new Revenue Information Management System (RIMS). RIMS, which will house and consolidate taxpayer data for an all-inclusive view of information and processes, with direct online access for taxpayers, practitioners and DRA staff, will be rolled out in three phased implementations by tax type.

Granite State Collect is set to launch on Oct. 28, 2019. Businesses required to file Meals and Rentals taxes can also use E-File until Dec. 31.
