Neighbors evacuated as police respond to domestic call on Sheffield Road

UPDATE: Arrest made following stand-off on Sheffield Road


MANCHESTER, NH — On November 20, 2019, around 9:50 p.m., Manchester Police responded to the area of Sheffield and S. Mammoth Road for a report of a domestic violence incident. 

A suspect remains in the home and is believed to be alone, and the victim fled to a neighbors’ address.

Patrol units attempted to resolve the situation however they have not been able to make contact with the suspect. 

At this time, Manchester SWAT has responded to the scene and will be taking over command of the incident. This is still an active and ongoing situation. Police ask the public to stay clear of the area. At this time evacuations from the immediate neighboring residences have been made and the public is not in danger. 

There is no further information at this time.
