MANCHESTER, NH – It’s the little things in life, sometimes. Take, for example, free stuff. That’s always worth getting excited about. And this weekend, the luck of the Irish has been extended, beyond St. Patrick’s Day proper, as the city celebrates with its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, rain or shine. Details here.

And don’t forget about the Shamrock Half Marathon, 10 a.m. on March 25, followed by the Shamrock Shuffle road race on March 26, which starts at 10:30 a.m.

And adding to all the parade and race day excitement, NBC/Boston‘s “Treat Truck” will be stationed at Veteran’s Park on both Saturday and Sunday – arriving around 8:30 a.m. Saturday for the Shamrock Half Marathon and staying until about 2 p.m., and then returning Sunday March 26 for parade and shuffle, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m – to meet and greet the viewing public, take selfies with fans for social media and, best of all, to pass out free hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies to racers, parade goers and anyone else who wants to say hello.

Make sure to get yours.
