Also on hand will be Boston Globe Editor-in-Chief Brian McGrory, Chicken Soup for the Soul publisher Amy Newmark and many well-regarded national, regional and local writers.

Columnists will be awarded prizes in the annual NSNC Column Writing Competition as well as awards in the Dear Abby College Columnists Scholarship Contest. Milton, Mass., columnist Suzette Standring will be given the Will Rogers Humanitarian Award in recognition of her community service.

The first open-to-the-public NSNC Book Fair takes place Saturday June 10 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the sun-splashed sitting room just off the hotel lobby. Two dozen national and local authors will greet readers with signed copies of their books.

“The NSNC is thrilled to offer such a prestigious line-up of speakers for this year’s conference. And we offer two unique opportunities for attendees: Our first ever pitch sessions to outstanding literary agents and our Book Festival,” said Lisa Smith Molinari, NSNC president.

This is NSNC’s first visit to New Hampshire. Last year’s conference was held in Los Angeles.
