The event, a part of the United Way’s Annual Days of Caring Series, aims to support homebound seniors in the area.

Sponsorships cost $350, with costs going toward filling shoeboxes with memory care items for seniors such as notebooks, puzzles and protein snacks among others. The United Way is also encouraging individuals and local organizations to hold collection drives for memory care items and is also seeking volunteers to collect donated items from throughout nearby communities.
