MANCHESTER, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Jan. 15 during an Operation Cyan detail — a cooperative detail by Manchester Police and NH State Police targeting motor vehicle traffic enforcement.

According to a police narrative, at approximately 1:20 a.m. Seth Stephens, 26, of Nashua, was driving a white Chevy Cavalier in the area of Valley and Willow streets. Officer Mark Aquino and Trooper Aaron Richards observed the car had a defective taillight and that Stephens also failed to use a proper turn signal while turning on to Valley Street, so they initiated a motor vehicle stop on Elm Street, near Valley Street.

They found that Stephens was operating without a valid license (second offense), so he was placed into custody on the misdemeanor offense. Trooper Richards noticed a plastic bag on the driver’s side floor board as Stephens exited the vehicle. The bag contained a white crystal-like substance, which tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.

Stephens was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled drug (felony); transportation of a controlled drug; operating without a valid license (second offense within a calendar year). He was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 15, 2016.
