MANCHESTER, NH – On Saturday at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to the area near the corner of Auburn and Cypress street safter reports of a nude man running around the area.

Officers were advised that the man was first spotted on Elliot Hospital property, moving to neighboring yards.

The man, 20-year-old Joseph Gawron of Manchester, was yelling and sweating profusely when officers caught up with him.

Gawron was also described as panicked according to police reports and he would not comply with police orders to stop moving and discuss his situation. After a warning, officers tased Gawron and then tased him a second time after the first taser deployment did not stop his movement. Even after the second tasing, Gawron later kicked and spat on an officer.

He was charged with alleged simple assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, loitering, and indecent exposure.
