AMHERST, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Amherst Police Chief Mark O. Reams announce that Bryson Peluso, 27, of Nashua, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Brandon Kluz, 23, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by shooting him with a handgun.

The incident occurred at 19 Baboosic Lake Road in Amherst, at about 1 a.m. on November 22, 2018.

An autopsy performed Friday morning on Brandon Kluz by Chief Medical Examiner Jennie V. Duval determined that the cause of Mr. Kluz’s death was a gunshot wound to the chest, and that the manner of death was homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Sergeant Marc Beaudoin of the New Hampshire State Major Crime Unit at (603) 223-4381. Peluso’s arraignment is scheduled for Friday, November 23, 2018, at Hillsborough Superior Court in Nashua.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Mr. Peluso is presumed innocent until proven guilty
