MANCHESTER, NH – Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation & Nursing Center staff, residents and families, and community stakeholders will gather at the 235 Myrtle St. facility from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, to celebrate receiving the American Health Care Association’s 2017 Silver Quality Award.
The prestigious honor is the second-highest level of distinction the long-term care provider can receive from the national association of its peers for providing excellent care.
For at least a year, the Centers for Medicare Services ranked Mt. Carmel with the top 5-star rating for achieving and maintaining high standards. The 120-bed licensed nursing facility is one of seven owned and operated by Catholic Charities New Hampshire. It is known for its “person centered” approach to care.
Established in 1996, the National Quality Award Program spotlights providers across the country that demonstrated their commitment to improving quality of care for residents and patients in long-term and post-acute care centers and communities.
