MANCHESTER, NH – Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese in Manchester is pleased to announce “Mac Gives Back” their community support effort. Mr. Mac’s has always been a community-minded organization and has now formalized their charitable giving effort with this new “Mac Gives Back” initiative. Making a difference to those in need on a local level is why the initiative has been embraced by all the employees of Mr. Mac’s, their guests and certainly those in New Hampshire in need.

May 1, 2019 through July 31, 2019, Mr. Mac’s will donate $1 for every Take & Bake order of their macaroni and cheese specialties, often described as the “best comfort food on the planet.” Funds raised during this time period will support the Manchester Salvation Army “Kids Café” a program that provides hot meals for area children.

“It broke our hearts to learn that so many children, right here in NH are going hungry. We had to do something,” states Patrick Cain, co-founder of Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese. The Mr. Mac’s management team set out to find a way to support this need, and they found Captain Michael Harper from the Salvation Army. The team toured the facility on Cedar Street and were impressed with their dedication and endless energy toward making the community a better place.

Captain Harper, responding to the Mac Gives Back program said, “We are so grateful to Mr. Mac’s. This program will no doubt make a huge difference to the Kids Café program. My wife and I have been fans of Mr. Mac’s for years, and now we are also fans of their generous hearts!”

Mr. Mac’s Manchester location is at 497 Hooksett Road, Manchester, NH For more information about Mr. Mac’s visit Mr-Macs.com.
