Motorcyclist seriously injured in Candia Road crash

The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries.

MANCHESTER, NH – On Sunday July 9th at approximately 6:40 p.m. members of the Manchester Police Department responded to the area of Candia Road by the Massabesic Traffic Circle for the report of an accident with injury involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.

The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle, a 2013 Toyota Highlander operated by a 70-year-old female from Londonderry was pulling out of a Candia Road business crossing the westbound travel lane to go east on Candia Road when she collided with a 2013 Harley Davidson FLTRU motorcycle operated by a 30-year-old Derry man, who was traveling westbound on Candia Road.

The sole occupant of the Highlander was uninjured however the motorcycle operator suffered life-threatening injuries. The identities of all persons involved are being withheld pending the investigation.
