Motorcyclist killed in I-93 crash

MANCHESTER, NH – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday after losing control exiting I-93 at Exit 8.

On October 19, 2016, at approximately 10:30 a.m. Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks in Bedford responded to a reported motorcycle crash with injury involving a 2015 Triumph Motorcycle operated by a Craig Levesque, 41, of Manchester.

Police say Levesque was traveling southbound on Interstate 93 when he lost control of his motorcycle and spun out onto the right side of the highway. Levesque became separated from the motorcycle and both Levesque and his motorcycle crashed into the curb and guardrail along the side of the interstate.

Levesque was transported to the Elliott Hospital for serious injuries sustained in the crash and later succumbed to his injuries.

Manchester Fire Department, Manchester Police Department and the NH Department of Transportation all assisted at the scene of the crash. The Exit 8 southbound on-ramp was shut down for a short period of time during the accident investigation.
