Motorcyclist dies of injuries sustained in Oct. 5 Elm Street crash

MANCHESTER, NH – UPDATE: On Saturday October 10, 2015 at approximate 5:50 p.m. John Berry, 53,  of Manchester, succumbed to injuries suffered Oct. 5 in a crag on Elm Street. He was pronounced dead at the Elliot Hospital. According to preliminary investigation, at about 6:13 p.m. on Oct. 5 a 1985 Harley Davidson driven by Berry, was traveling north on Elm Street at Clarke Street when it collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox traveling west from Clarke Street onto Elm Street.

The operator of the Chevy, a 68-year-old woman, was uninjured. Berry was taken to Elliot Hospital with multiple serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Team. Anyone with information regarding this crash is urged to contact the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit at 603-792-5440.
