A rather pleasant day is in store for Presidents’ Day as the southwest flow brings in milder air with temperatures in the low 50s.

5-Day Outlook Feb. 21- Feb. 25

Presidents’ Day: Milder with sun and clouds mixed. High 53 Winds: WSW 5-10 mph
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Low 32 Winds: Light & Variable
Tuesday: Cloudy & mild with rain by evening. High 47 Winds: E 5-10 mph
Tuesday night: Windy with periods of rain. Low 45 Winds: S 10-20+ mph
Wednesday: Clouds to sunshine, windy, and warmer. High 64 Winds: WSW 10-20 mph
Wednesday night: Clear to partly cloudy and colder. Low 22 Winds: NW 10-20+ mph
Thursday: Much colder with a mix of sun & clouds. High 32 Winds: NNW 5-10 mph
Thursday night: Becoming cloudy with snow (1-2″) late. Low 23 Winds: NNE 5-10 mph
Friday: Snowy & windy. (4-7″) High 25 Winds: NE 10-15 mph
Friday night: Early snow then partly cloudy late. Low 15 Winds: NNW 5-10 mph

Summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire Today:
Summits in and out of clouds. Highs in the lower 30s… except in the upper 20s at elevations above 5,000 feet. West winds around 45 mph decreasing to around 30 mph in the afternoon. At elevations above 5,000 feet, west winds around 65 mph decreasing to around 45 mph in the afternoon. Wind chill values as low as 6 below in the morning.
Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire Today:
Summits in and out of clouds. Highs in the mid-30s. West winds around 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph decreasing to around 30 mph in the afternoon. Wind chill values as low as 3 above in the morning.
