Monarchs set to begin preseason in Exeter

MANCHESTER, N.H. – This week, the Manchester Monarchs announced a preseason contest against the newly minted Maine Mariners, which will take place on Sunday Oct. 7 at the Rinks at Exeter.

Admission to the game is free and doors will open at 3:30 p.m., with puck drop scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

Maine and Manchester have 14 meetings during the regular season, with the Mariners making their first appearance at SNHU Arena on Oct. 27.

The Monarchs begin their regular season with a pair of contests in Brampton, Ontario on Oct. 13 and 14, heading home for a game against the Newfoundland Growlers on Oct. 19.
