MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled forward Maxim Kitsyn from the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.  He will be available for today’s game against Hartford, wearing number 48.

Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough made the announcement.

For Kitsyn, 23, this marks his second stint of the season with Manchester after appearing in five games with the club from Jan. 7-18.  He scored a goal in his season debut on Jan. 7 at St. John’s.  The left wing has 17 goals and 14 assists in 45 games for the Reign this season.  He tallied the first hat trick of his career on Feb. 7 at Colorado.  The 6-foot-2 winger was selected by the Kings in the sixth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft (158th overall).

The Monarchs will host the Wolf Pack at 3 p.m. today before heading to St. John’s for three games against the IceCaps starting on Wednesday.
