MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have reassigned forward Maxim Kitsyn to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.

Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough made the announcement on Monday.

Kitsyn, 23, appeared in two games with the Monarchs since being recalled from Ontario on March 8 for his second stint of the season in Manchester.  The left wing has 17 goals and 14 assists in 45 games for the Reign this year.  He tallied the first hat trick of his career on Feb. 7 at Colorado.  The 6-foot-2 winger was selected by the Kings in the sixth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft (158th overall).

The Monarchs will play at Providence on Friday night (7:05 p.m.) before returning home for a 7 p.m. game against the IceCaps on Saturday night.
