MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced today that Monarchs fans raised over $14 thousand in donations during the “At Your Service” Dinner on March 16.  All proceeds from the event were donated to the Manchester Boys and Girls Club, Child Health Services and the Monarchs Care Foundation.

“This event was a tremendous success this year,” said Michelle Gagnon, the Monarchs’ Director of Community Outreach.  “We wanted to create an event that was fun for everyone, while also generating funds for some great causes, and we accomplished both.”

Monarchs players collected tips from fans throughout the event by serving dinner and participating in events such as thumb wrestling with Justin Auger, bubble hockey against Jordan Weal and a selfie station with Scott Sabourin.  The event was modeled after the Kings’ charity event known as “Tip-A-King.”

The first-place Monarchs will look to surpass the 100-point mark on Friday night when they host Portland at 7 p.m.  They have six regular-season games remaining, with three at home and three on the road.
