MANCHESTER, N.H – The Manchester Monarchs continue to build next season’s roster, adding a new name this week in addition to two familiar ones.

Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager Doug Christiansen announced that Michael Doherty and Eric Schurhamer for their second and third seasons with the Monarchs respectively.

Doherty was one of Manchester’s key scoring threats, recording 20 goals and 24 assists in 68 games for the Monarchs, becoming a common presence on the team’s first and second lines.

Schurhamer was one of the 2017-’18 squad’s top defensemen, leading the Monarchs blue liners with 65 appearances, trailing only Alexx Privitera in plus/minus rating among Monarchs defensemen.

Christiansen also announced the addition of forward Joe Sullivan, the Monarchs’ first new face for the upcoming season.

Before his time at St. Lawrence, Sullivan played in over 150 junior level games, including 58 for the 2013-’14 Clark Cup-winning Indiana Ice.
