MANCHESTER, N.H. – Earlier this week, the Manchester Monarchs announced the signing of defenseman Chris Carlisle for the 2018-’19 season.

Carlisle, 23, returns from playing overseas after skating in 45 games for HC Bolzano of the EBEL during the 2017-18 season, where he racked up four goals and nine assists for 13 points, while recording 32 penalty minutes.

The 5-foot-10, 174-pound native of Fort Lee, N.J., played two seasons for the Binghamton Senators (AHL) from 2015 to 2017, where he totaled 139 games and scored seven goals and 21 assists for 28 points. Carlisle appeared in two games for the Evansville IceMen (ECHL) during the 2015-16 season and recorded two assists.
