MANCHESTER, NH – Although police in Manchester have no updates to report on the status of a missing woman case, the NH Union Leader reports that a woman matching the description of Sue Hutchinson, 57, of Manchester, was spotted in Epping on Friday.

Epping Police were contacted Sept. 25 by an employee of Roselynn Homemade Ice Cream who told them that a “confused” customer came in to the restaurant and bought ice cream. The woman matched the description of Hutchinson, who was reported missing by her family on Sept. 20. Ice cream shop employee Dorene Heselton told the Union Leader that employees didn’t make the connection until after the customer left the restaurant in a silver car.

The woman entered the  shop around 1:30 p.m. and seemed confused. She eventually ordered an ice cream, telling an employee she was “in a hurry” and that she wasn’t from the area.

“If it wasn’t her, she was her twin, right down to the glasses,” Haselton told the Union Leader.
