UPDATE: The family reports that Richard Marchant was found safe in Milford around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 29.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are assisting a family in the search for a missing loved one, a Massachusetts man who was last heard from when he called his son to say he was lost in New Hampshire.

Richard Marchant, 68, of Arlington, Mass., phoned his son at about 12:47 p.m. on Nov. 28 to say he was lost. He has been dealing with some memory issues, according to family, and was heading to a familiar location, but became disoriented. His phone went dead shortly after the call. He is driving a teal Toyota RAV4, plate # 7DXF30.

The family has notified Manchester Police and say that state police in Massachusetts and New Hampshire have also been alerted.
