MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Development Corporation (MDC) announced July 17 it has closed a loan from the Queen City Loan Fund with To Share Brewing Company.

To Share Brewing is the collaboration of Aaron and Jenni Share-a husband and wife team dedicated to their community and their craft. To Share Brewing Company plans to open its doors late Summer 2018 at 720 Union St. in Manchester. Their goal is to support and advance the Manchester downtown community by creating high-quality, enjoyable beer.

They launched a 30-day online fundraising campaign  on June 1 via Indigogo, which helped them surpass their $20,000 fund-raising goal.

“The Queen City Loan Fund was the perfect option for us and exactly the right time. This funding allows us to make those last few purchases that we need to get the brewery and taproom open by the end of the summer. A huge thank you to the Manchester Development Corporation and the Manchester Economic Development Office for helping us start To Share Brewing!” said Jenni and Aaron Share.

“Manchester Development Corporation is thrilled to support To Share Brewing through our Queen City Loan Fund,” said Donald St. Germain, Chairman, Manchester Development Corporation. “The Shares’ entrepreneurial spirit is an example of why the Manchester business community is thriving. We at the MDC wish them the highest level of success.”

The Queen City Loan Fund helps new and existing local businesses to contribute to Manchester’s ongoing revitalization, according to Mayor Joyce Craig.

“And with the addition of To Share Brewing in Manchester, the Queen City continues to expand and develop community spaces that add to our city’s growing economy. I wish Jenni and Aaron Share all the best as they open their business,” Craig said.

Under the direction of the Mayor and Board of Alderman and in concert with the City’s Economic Development Director, the Manchester Development Corporation advocates, supports, and facilitates economic development activities for the City of Manchester, including business relations, retention, attraction and expansion. The Queen City Loan Fund (QCLF) was created to provide new and existing Manchester businesses access to debt capital for growth or expansion and to support and contribute to Manchester’s revitalization through business development and job growth.
