Merrimack motorcyclist killed in 293 crash

MANCHESTER, NH – A motorcyclist from Merrimack was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on 293.

On Sept. 9, 2018 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police-Troop B received a report of a motorcycle collision along Interstate 293 in Manchester.  The incident was determined to be a single motor vehicle crash, along the shoulder of the highway.  Several northbound lanes of the Interstate were closed for approximately three hours, while the incident was investigated.

Preliminary investigation shows that the operator of the motorcycle, Paul Mondoux, 63, of Merrimack, left the roadway just after the 93 split. The motorcycle continued along the shoulder of the roadway and struck a metal guardrail.

Circumstances surrounding this accident are still under investigation, although speed is believed to be a factor.  The operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
