MANCHESTER, NH — Those of you staying close to home can come out for the annual Memorial Day Parade in Manchester on May 25. Parade kicks off at 2 p.m.
Road closures will begin at 1 p.m. at Elm Street in the area of Webster Street. All of Elm Street, from Clark Street to Granite Street, will be closed at 1:55 p.m. to allow for the parade to travel down Elm Street. If you need to travel east or west across the city please do so via any street south of Granite Street.
You can also opt for the Fisher Cats game at 1:35 p.m. on Monday, where Navy SEAL Blake Marston of Bedford will be honored during a special pre-game ceremony. Marston was killed in January during a training exercise. Fans are encouraged to show their patriotism by wearing red, white and blue.
By the way, if you’re looking for Memorial Day fireworks, Sunday’s Fisher Cats home game at 6:35 p.m. will end with a bang, with Atlas Fireworks. Tickets for all Fisher Cats games are available online.
