MANCHESTER, NH – Members First Credit Union employees take casual day seriously. Each Friday, they give $5 to dress down in jeans and other casual attire to support local charities. Members First recently donated $335 from the Casual Friday Fund to Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, a nonprofit organization in Bedford that provides care for homeless and neglected animals.

“Serving and supporting our community is an important part of the credit union’s mission,” said Terry Wiegelman, vice president of marketing at Members First. “And we are deeply honored to support the Animal Rescue League in their mission to improve animal welfare in our communities.”

The Animal Rescue League helps more than 2,200 homeless cats, dogs, and small animals each year. The shelter receives no state or federal funding, and is almost entirely dependent upon donations.

Members First Credit Union

Since 1949, Members First Credit Union has been a trusted financial resource in Manchester, Bedford and surrounding communities. We get to know our members so we can recommend the right solutions to help them reach their goals. In other words: we’re small enough to make a big difference. As a full-service financial institution, we offer the products and services our members need, whether for themselves, their family or business. And because we’re not for profit, earnings go back to our members, so they can save and borrow at reasonable rates. Membership is open to anyone living, working, or attending school in New Hampshire.
