MANCHESTER, NH – Members First Credit Union recently donated $15,000 to the Manchester Police Athletic League (MPAL) through its sponsorship of the first-ever MPAL Ball. MPAL is a nonprofit organization that provides free athletic, educational and enrichment programs for youth living in Greater Manchester, while connecting them with police officers who serve as positive role models.
“We were honored to sponsor the MPAL Ball and support MPAL in its mission to bring cops and kids together in the Manchester area,” said Bruce Leighton, president and CEO, Members First Credit Union. “As a local credit union, we strongly believe that investing in our community benefits everyone. MPAL is doing important work for youth in the Greater Manchester community and we hope our ongoing support can assist in their continued success.”
Hundreds were in attendance for the inaugural event, gathering for an evening of dinner, auctions, raffles, trivia and dancing.
