Mayor, Aldermen to review, discuss annual Opioid Crisis response report

MANCHESTER, NH – City Officials plan to present an annual report during Tuesday night’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting on the state of the city in light of the ongoing heroin and opioid crisis.

Public Health Director Tim Soucy, accompanied by city officials, will present results of the report, a comprehensive review of the city’s response to the drug epidemic for calendar year 2016, during the regularly scheduled Feb. 7 Aldemanic meeting.

The  report details specific efforts and data put forward by the city, as well as a rundown of treatment and recovery providers working in conjunction with city officials to provide a response as well as solutions to reversing the opioid epidemic.
