Matt Forrest Esenwine is a perfect example of following one’s heart for life’s second act. After more than 25 years as a professional radio broadcaster and commercial producer, he left the steady paycheck to pursue at-home fatherhood while earning a living as a voice over artist with his home studio.
Matt also committed to becoming a poet and writer full time, while spending days with his children, ages 2 and 5, and is a contributing poet for “Lullaby and Kisses Sweet: Poems to Love With Your Baby.”
He’s had many published works to date. While admitting he wishes he were more motivated by money, Matt couldn’t be happier. His first book, “Flashlight Night,” will be out in 2017.
