MANCHESTER, NH – A Massachusetts man wanted by Boston police was picked up in Manchester and taken into custody on March 3.

Members of the Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division worked collaboratively with Boston, MA, police to locate Jalen Morris, 22, of Roxbury, Mass. Boston Police received information that Morris was staying in the Queen City after his alleged involvement in a Boston shooting.

Detectives from the Special Enforcement Division and Boston Police Department spotted Morris entering a vehicle Friday outside of a Log Street apartment at approximately 10:30 a.m. Morris entered a Jeep Liberty operated by a 20-year-old Manchester woman (who was not charged, police said).

The vehicle was stopped on Hevey Street a short time later and Morris was taken into custody without incident.

Morris was charged with fugitive from justice and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on March 6, 2017.

No additional details were available about the shooting incident for which Morris was wanted, police said.
