Masked, armed, bearded and carrying a plastic bag: Police seek convenience store robber

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are looking for a masked man who robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint early Thursday, and got away with cash.

Police Officer Amanda Smith arrived at the Eddy Road Shell Station at 1:30 a.m. on May 12 for an armed robbery. The clerk, Frank Masi, 67, of Manchester, pressed the panic alarm after an unknown masked man entered the store demanding cash, armed with handgun.

The robber wore a long green trench coat, black ski mask, green undershirt, black pants, black gloves and carried  a gray plastic bag.

Masi said the robber never pointed the gun at him, but held it close to his side while demanding cash. He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran south on Eddy Road.

An independent witness observed the man walk past the Eddy Road Dunkin Donuts and noticed the robber, a white male, also had shoulder length brown hair with a brown beard. He lost sight of him in the area of Bremer Street.
