MANCHESTER, NH – After a week of rehearsing, students who participated in City Parks & Recreation’s Winterfest workshop will stage “The Fisherman and His Wife” at Northwest Elementary School on March 1. Shows at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The production features more than 30 Manchester children, and was made possible through generous support by Rotary Club of Manchester, and the crew at Children’s Stage Adventures.

“The Fisherman and his Wife” is an original adaptation of a favorite Grimm’s fairy tale. When Will, the poor fisherman, catches an enchanted fish it looks as if his luck has changed. The fish offers him the chance to have his dreams come true, but one wish leads to another and Will soon learns that if you have happiness you have everything you need.

Northwest Elementary School is located at 300 Youville St. Free admission.
