MANCHESTER, NH  – Manchester Central Football will be well represented at this year’s CHaD East/West NH High School All-Star Football game. The annual fundraising event for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, scheduled for Saturday, June 30, 2108 at 1:00 p.m. at UNH’s Wildcat Stadium, draws the top high school football talent from throughout the state to compete in the last gridiron contest where the players can proudly represent their respective high schools.

Central boasts five players on Team West this year, the only high school football players from Manchester schools selected to participate in this prestigious event. All seniors, these young men represent some of the best talent Central Football offered this past season on both sides of the ball. Jeremy Chandler plays wide receiver on offense and corner back on defense, while both Javell Desir and Jeremyah Rivera play running back and fullback on offense and corner back on defense. On offense, Mchale Nama is in the wide receiver position, switching to defensive back on defense, and Mike Tessier plays the line on both offense and defense. All of these players will graduate from Central this June and some are exploring the possibility of playing football at the next level.

Together, these Central players offer a great deal of experience to the Team West roster, where they join players representing 16 other New Hampshire schools. Some of these new teammates include players from some former D-1 rivals including Bedford, Goffstown, Concord and Bishop Guertin.

These young men look forward to competing with the best in the state and representing the City of Manchester and Central High School with pride, all while helping to raise money for such a great cause. The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock provides transformative pediatric health care to our community’s most vulnerable kids.

So mark your calendars and join us at the game in Durham in June to cheer on Central and Team West. You can also show your Central Pride with a donation to this CHaD event.
